I'm not catholicism-based, but I know many individuals who follow the regulations of this belief very carefully. I admire their dedication, & I think they are magnificent people due to it. There are many things in life that are magnificent in theory, but are not so great in practice. Though a catholic wedding day seems to cover what the religious conviction means to those who attend, I've to say it's lacking a bit. Though who follow this creed are used to the duration of the wedding-ceremony and the christian wedding songs, but for some-one like me, this is some-thing of a shock. One of my dearest friends asked me to be in her catholic wedding, & I had no concept what I was getting into when I agreed. I enjoyed the christian wedding songs, but it was lengthy!

The ceremony itself is not bad, it's the duration of it. It seemed to me that everybody was moving in slow motion, & that didn't help. A catholicism-based wedding day is a long affair, but that could not be the case if everybody would just go a bit quicker. You can get things done without appearing hurried if you put your brain to it, but it seemed that everyone who was concerned in her catholicism-based wedding wanted to take their time, including the individuals that sang the christian wedding songs.

The duration of the wedding-ceremony was a bit much for me, and the key factor was my choice of shoe. I had to have something with a heel, but I had no notion that I would have to stand in them for an hour. By the time we were half-way done with the catholicism-based wedding day ceremony, I thought my feet were going to break off. They hurt like mad, & my dress wasn't long enough for me to glide them off for a little ease. I noticed many of the other girls in the wedding day were shifting around uncomfortably, and when there were minutes when we could sit, you could hear an audible sigh of release from most of the wedding day party.

Over all, though, the catholic wedding day was gorgeous, & I'm happy that my friend & her new husband had the wedding day they wanted, & that everything went smoothly. My biggest problem was that I did not know what to expect, & that are worthy of been something that I asked as the preparations were being made. She was very aware that we may be awkward, but she was so weary that she mentioned this to us much too late. That's okay though, I would do any-thing for her. I will think twice if some-one else asks me to be a part of a catholicism-based wedding again though.
